EcoTrans Selected As A Finalist For Prestigious Globe Environmental Awards Two Years Running
EcoTrans Technologies has been selected as finalist in 2004 for THE CORPORATE AWARD FOR TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION AND/OR APPLICATION category for the Globe Environmental Awards. This marks the second year in a row that EcoTrans has been selected as one of three finalists.
Sponsored by the GLOBE Foundation and The Globe and Mail (Canada's national newspaper), the GLOBE award is given to companies that have demonstrated outstanding technical ingenuity in developing and applying innovative technologies to solve pressing environmental problems and substantially reduce environmental impacts.

EcoTrans was selected based upon the sales success of its K-9 ® Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) for locomotives and considers its participation in the Globe Awards, a testament to its initiative to reduce the production of harmful emissions while at the same time providing an economic incentive through fuel savings.
