Teleflex Completes Acquisition Of EcoTrans, Producer Of Auxiliary Power Systems For Railroads
LIMERICK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 2006--Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE:TFX) today announced it has completed the acquisition of Ecotrans Technologies Inc., a leading supplier of locomotive anti-idling and emissions reductions solutions for the railroad industry. Ecotrans will be integrated into Teleflex Power Systems, also a leading supplier of auxiliary power units (APUs) and alternative fuel systems for heavy truck, industrial vehicle, automotive and rail applications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
